God is moving in Czech Republic

We praise God for the church in Ostrava, Czech Republic and for Pastor Oskar & Helena Najt and their diligent work with both the Czech and Gypsy people. Pastor Oskar is a Czech man with a genuine burden for people. He has been instrumental in building the fellowship of churches in central/eastern Europe. During the summer months, there is an aggressive thrust of open air crusades and meetings around Ostrava and neighboring cities. In a nation that has been programmed towards atheism and godlessness, there is a surprising openness in people. Many are hearing of Jesus for the first time and are hungry for His forgiving power.

The first church to be planted from this wonderful congregation was started in Spisska Nova Ves, Slovakia. Pastor Emil & Iveta Adam and their wonderful children moved into the nearby city of Poprad, Slovakia and began working with a group of gypsies who were desperate for a miracle working Jesus. In 2008, Pavel and Andrea Toth became the second couple to be launched from the mother church in Ostrava. Since that time, they have planted a successful church in an area approximately 45 minutes away that is growing week by week.
